Placing an order

First, complete our quick online consultation. If you're suitable, we'll recommend some treatments for you to choose from. Select a treatment and check out. Then one of our clinicians will review your order to confirm the treatment is safe for you. Once they've approved your prescription, we'll deliver it quickly and discreetly to your door.

You don't need an existing prescription to use our service. Our clinicians will issue a prescription if treatment is deemed appropriate, based on their professional assessment following your consultation.

You can pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit and debit cards (including American Express, Visa, and Mastercard}.

Our online consultation will give you an indication of treatments you're likely to be eligible for. Once you've placed your order, our prescribers review your details to confirm the treatment is safe for you.

If they decide that the treatment you've ordered isn't suitable, we'll automatically process a full refund to your original payment method.

We refund both the program and the medication fee, so you won't pay a penny if we don't issue a prescription.

At this time, MedExpress does not offer insurance coverage or rebates on prescription medications. We’re reviewing future options, but currently prescription medications are paid by the patient.

When you pay by credit or debit card, payments will be shown on your statement under the name MedExpress.

Yes. We work with a registered Canadian pharmacy to dispense your medication, and all treatments are authorized for use in Canada.

If you use MedExpress, we'll give you the option to tell us your primary care provider details and give us consent to share information about your treatment. This is entirely optional. However, it is recommended to keep your doctor informed of any medication you're taking.

You can remove your primary care provider details and withdraw consent at any time by contacting our customer support team.

Shipping

Shipping is free for all orders.

Our partner pharmacy aims to ship within 1 to 3 working days across Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. Some treatments, such as weight loss medication, may require additional safety checks prior to authorization. The delivery time only begins once your treatment has been authorized and dispatched, not from the time you place your order.

The shipping options may vary between provinces and is managed by our partner pharmacy. To simplify this for you, shipping is free for all of our customers.

Our clinicians normally review orders within 24 hours. It may take longer if they need more information from you before they can safely issue a prescription.

To dispatch your order, our clinicians first need to approve and issue a prescription. If done by 3pm EST Monday to Thursday, we can dispatch your medication on the same day. Anything approved after that will be dispatched the following Monday.

Yes. Every order is shipped in plain, neutral packaging with no branding or labels.

Orders placed via medexpress.co/ca are delivered exclusively to addresses in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.

MedExpress also operates in the UK and Germany. In the United States we operate under a sister-brand, Ziphealth.co.

For the dispensing and shipping of medications, MedExpress partners with a registered Canadian mail-order pharmacy. The pharmacy is authorized to dispense medications to customers in Canada.

Canadian mail-order pharmacies are also subject to government regulation and oversight, ensuring that your safety remains a top priority and that we consistently uphold the highest standards.

MedExpress began in the UK in 2013 and now supports customers in Germany and Canada as of 2025.

Contact your doctor, a local pharmacy, or MedExpress if you experience any side effects with your treatment. Seek immediate medical attention if side effects are severe, and call 911 if they’re life-threatening.

MedExpress has a written complaints policy. To lodge a formal complaint, please fill out our contact form. We aim to acknowledge all formal written complaints within two working days and respond to them within five working days.
